Bopert

Modern Jazz Soul Groove Guitar (with a retro tint)

Bopert is Robert’s jazz guitar persona, rooted in his 1978 live recording as Bopert Davidson & his Combo-Nation (available on Fervor Records).

His more recent Bopert work, including the debut album “Future Retro” (2021–2023), showcases pure studio craftsmanship, entirely organic performances captured in real time.

The album notably features one of the earliest AI-generated album covers (September 2, 2022) in contrast to the wholly human-performed music within.
