Bopert is Robert's jazz guitar persona, rooted in his 1978 live recording as Bopert Davidson & his Combo-Nation (available on Fervor Records). His more recent Bopert work, including the debut album "Future Retro" (2021-2023), showcases pure studio craftsmanship, entirely organic performances captured in real time. The album notably features one of the earliest AI-generated album covers (September 2, 2022), a fascinating contrast to the wholly human-performed music within.
